So I'm trying to enter a cheat to add Shiny Gyarados into my Pokemon Emerald ROM. I cross-checked my codes to make sure they were correct via three different sources, and am positive they were entered correctly (via "Add Gameshark" and "Add" functions). However, when I reboot my game, the cheats have disappeared. Am I missing a step?

So, for a long time I was using some old version of mGBA dating before August of this year.
I gave myself a challenge of playing MOTHER 1+2 and MOTHER 3 using mGBA on 3DS homebrew and using the save slots to bookmark progress.

In MOTHER 3 a weird oddity occurred where every time I'd go to write save data to the SAV using the in-game save menu, it'd just freeze right as it said "Saving..." and nothing got written to the SAV.
Turns out if you load a state beforehand, it just kinda crashes... and you have to hold the 3DS power button to get out.

Using New 3DS on whatever version can be "haxxed" with N3DS_U_27648_usa_9221.bin although I'm not sure if an issue like this is unique to any system version or system specs.

Bringing this up because the ending of the game writes data to the SAV which froze the game for me one time I got past the last boss.

is there any way to separate ROMS from save states and save files? i wanna put a lot of ROMS on my PSVita and i dont want to get confused by save states and saves while browsing roms

Whenever I try to trade in any pokemon roms the game does not work in the multiplayer tab and gets a white screen, but if I close the first tab, the second starts working just fine.

I'm trying to play Ultra Violet, but it says save error whenever I try to save. I tried to look for the option, but couldn't find it.

If possible. How do i use cheats on 3DS?

I have mGBA 0.6.0 and gb &gbc games work well but gba games lag a lot. It is very difficult to play them. 
Is there any form for changing or improve this?
I have a 3ds and the game runs at 15-20 fps

I've added them to my game and then restarted my game but they aren't working. They are GameShark codes but I also tried them as Pro Action Replay codes but I've had no luck.
   

I'm trying to post some codes for FF6, because I got to the end and am horribly screwed with my saves, but every time I hit "Add" after entering some certain lines, they just never appear under the tabs.

Am I doing something wrong? Some lines appear just fine, and I'm not sure why.

I recently remembered seeing articles about this thing(http://www.cybergadget.co.jp/products/45...07439.html) almost 10 years ago.

Cyber Gadget seems to be a notable third party accessories manufacturer. Is this product licensed?

Also, that article mentioned "while you’re using the DS as a controller and mini TV screen, the Famulator doesn’t actually use the DS hardware to run the games." Is there any proof for this statement?
