I can't seem to play gba games on my o3ds due to so much lag. I don't own n3ds and just use mgba for gb, gbc games which work great! I tried messing with some of the settings and didn't have much success any other solution?

I’ve been wondering if saving in game is preferred than saving on file? It’s because for GBA4IOS they prefer the player to save in game than on the gba app, soo which is it for windows mGBA? In game or on file? Both?

Hi! I have created shortcuts for my roms in Steam to play from big picture mode. Every other emulator works fine, but my mGBA shortcuts will only open the emulator, without loading the rom. This is how my shortcut looks:

Target: "D:\Emulación\Game Boy Advance\mGBA\mGBA.exe" "D:\Emulación\Game Boy Advance\Games\Castlevania - Aria of Sorrow (USA).gba"

Manually loading the rom works fine, though.

Any idea of why this might be happening?

He instalado mGBA en mi new 3DS XL y el problema es que al emular un juego, no puedo ni subir ni bajar sonido ni tampoco se escucha nada, no puedo hacer nada con el sonido. 
¿Alguien tiene alguna idea de como solucionarlo ?

Seeing as Drill Dozer and Warioware Twisted have both shot up in price, I wanted to test rumble before making any purchases. However, I can't seem to get rumble to work no matter what I do. I've tried using both Windows and Homebrew on my Switch:

On Windows (7), I've tried:

• Enabling rumble via overrides pane
  
• Connecting my Switch Pro Controller via USB
  
• Connecting my Switch Pro Controller via Bluetooth
  
• Having Steam Big Picture open in the background
  
• Using WiinUPro
  

• Playing with Joycons in handheld mode
  
• Playing docked with Switch Pro Controller
  
• Using version 0.7.2
  
• Using the latest version (as of now: mGBA-build-2019-07-05)
  

as the title says is there anyway to have a shader have a transparent watermark?
the reasoning being
i want to see gba games that look like it was given the four swords adventures treatment

fsa used a texture to make two tiles that would otherwise look the same (eg two solid green grass tiles)
look diffrent

i want to do something similar but since i couldnt apply a static texture on always loading and unloading tiles
i figured a watermark with a transparent texture would be second best

While trying to rebind my keyboard for the game, i also tried to rebind the shortcuts. It works, but it barely shows the name of the shortcut. The settings window does'nt resize either, so I'm left guessing on what half of the shortcuts are since i can't see full names.

I have recently switched from no$gba to mGBA. I was in the middle of a game of pokemon emerald and I tried bringing my save file over but mgba doesn't load it when I load the rom, even though the .SAV file is in the same folder. I have tried "load temporary save file", but it didnt work. I'd be really glad if someone here knew how to make it work since it would suck to start over

So I'm playing Pokemon blue and was really impressed with the super Gameboy emulation. Looks and plays great. Cruising through the game having a blast when I say "I need an Alakazam on my team". Pop in Pokemon red and get to trade point but hold up nothing is connecting. Well fool it might be you are trying to do this on the super Gameboy bios. There was no connection cable for that 😂. 

So we try loading it up on the Gameboy color bios and that was a no go. Had to try it a couple times and it still just showed up in black and white. No big deal we just trading so let's go to original Gameboy. Great it's loaded but hold up, it's not reading my save file. I just have new game and options setting when starting up past the start screen. 

Do some research and some said just save state in one and load in the other. Still a no go. Save state seem to be bios specific and you get a fresh amount of slots dedicated to that bios. 

One last thing I found was to try and edit the .sav file. I can't remember what it said to change the extension to but we tried it and that bad boy would not open. 

So I'm at a loss here. I would hate to have to start Pokemon again and be forced to play it in black and white. I feel like I would end up abandoning that nostalgia ship. Thanks guys. Love the emulator. It is amazing!!!!
