The acceleration function of the mgba emulator makes the displayed frame rate appear choppy after it exceeds my screen refresh rate. For example, with my 165Hz screen, a 3x speedup displays around 180 frames per second (mgba's built-in frame rate display), which makes it look choppy. A 4x speedup makes the choppyness even more noticeable. However, the vba-m emulator and my Delta on my Apple device don't have this problem. mgba doesn't solve this issue regardless of whether I choose to synchronize audio or video. Can anyone please help me with this?
The specific problem is as shown in the image I've shown: the FPS obtained using a frame rate testing tool is different from the FPS displayed in the game.
By the way, I'm Chinese. I apologize that my English isn't very good; this was written using translation software.
If I only choose 2x speed acceleration, 120 is less than 165, so the smoothness of the game will not be affected, and the detected FPS is the same as in the game.
