Saving the state or in game saving works initially but after restarting my laptop, I'm no longer able to load my games afterwards. I tried finding the .sav file or where it's located but it's nowhere. There is a file that appears after I save it though and it's name is like this ".xdp_Pokemon - Fire Red Version  (U) (V1.1).zip.V7LOHZ" but I cannot use it to load the file after restarting my laptop.

I've been using mGBA on my Macbook to play Mother 3 and have been experiencing some issues. I can load my save fine, and savestates are working, but when I go to save ingame, as soon as it begins saving mGBA crashes instantly. This is frustrating as I'm quite far into the game and I really need to be able to save ingame, so that when I die I can return to my savepoint. This isn't possible with savestates as I will lose my level progress.

I tried downloading the latest mGBA but I get this message when running:

I tried to use medusa to record some game footage today, since it and mGBA are simply perfect for high quality footage. (But I couldn't do it since the maps in my controller were wrong and there was no option to remap it, please fix  )

But a feature I think is more than needed would be the option to record just one screen (either top or bottom) since the aspect ratio of both screens only works if you're watching it on a phone 

I know that this is a known problem but does anyone know a work around or a development build that fixes this. Thanks

I compiled mgba from source and it works fine otherwise but default control mapping is not even there. Nothing is mapped to the keyboard and only the analog does anything (dpad) when i plug in a ps3 controller. According to the help list:

"-C, --config OPTION=VALUE               Override config value"

Can I sue this to map new controls. How?

Hello, good day. I made an account to report an issue with Golden Sun USA/EUROPE ROM, when loaded the screen will flicker between black and the actual image. No amount of tweaking seems to fix it.

I am trying to use an xbox360 controller, and it appears the left analog stick has already been mapped to A,B,L and R. I want to map it to the d pad. Everytime I try to clear and bind it it doesn't work. Help would be MUCH appreciated

Random Freezes at any point of any game while playing, stops the game completly and has to load the game again, at least playing in fullscreen mode.

Intel GM45 Express Chipset (Dell Laptop 1545), all games/roms crash the emulator and windows closes it. No error code comes up. Is it just to old of a machine?

Any ideas out there?

Would it be possible to implement the option to disable audio emulation in order to increase performance in the portable builds of mGBA?

I remember from when I was a young lad that disabling the audio in VBA would increase the speed of emulation. I wonder if something similar could be applied to mGBA for a performance boost. 

I can imagine something like this greatly improving the usability of the emulator on the 3DS and Vita, mainly the Vita. This could also have the benefit of allowing a Vita user to play their own music whilst in mGBA without it clashing against a given game's music (looking at you Pokémon!)

I understand that the development of emulators is more complicated than simply flipping a switch, so thank you in advance for your time and effort!
