Can I import save files on the Wii?
#1
So I started Pokemon Fire Red on John GBAC and I played it all the way to the elite four. Now I want to play it on the Wii and I tried changing the .sav file with mine, but it didn't work; then I noticed that when you save progress in a save slot it gives you a .ss1 file, meanwhile I have 2 files for the same slot, one is .jg0 and the other is .js0

Anyone knows how do I transfer it?

To fix this, you need to open the game in John GBAC, then go to the in-game menu and save as you normally would in the game (using the "Save" function in Pokémon, not "Save State"). Then, find that .sav file (usually in the John GBA/saves/ folder), rename it to match the ROM name you'll be using on the Wii (for example, if the ROM is FireRed.gba, the file should be FireRed.sav), and copy it to the saves/ folder of the GBA emulator on the Wii. When you restart the game on the Wii, this save file should be recognized correctly and you can continue your adventure.
