emulator crash

[Magnulux]

when im trying to load the rom without extracting it from the rar i get the messege: "could not load the game. Are you sure its in the correct format?"
and my friends say its is working for them.
when i debbuged with VS i got the messege "symbol file not loaded".
the output last line say "exception thrown at 0x005158C5 in mGBA.exe: 0xC0000005: access violation reading location 0x0000000C"
