Changing the save/save state directory
#1
I apologize if this has been asked before (and for the life of me, I can't locate or recall where the post was made), but is it possible to specify a save directory for the save and save states since mGBA doesn't support file type filtering? It would make loading games a lot easier to navigate through, thank you for your hard work Big Grin

See https://forums.mgba.io/showthread.php?ti...888#pid888 and the discussion that follows. For 3DS, replace .wii with .3ds. For savestates, replace savegame with savestate.

Apologies once more and thank you, and I should note GBC games don't run on latest nightly build, I got a code dump.  Confused

When you say config.ini, you mean the XML or after it generates the config file when I load it for the first time?

That's in apps/mgba along with the icon.png and boot.dol. I don't seem to see any config file, but I assume that I need to load it up, change the settings and it will generate one? Other than the the one that's in the app folder itself, I see nothing else to change.

But as for the ini file, I didn't see one.

The ini file is generated at /mGBA/config.ini on first run.

My bad, but I did want to mention that GBC games fail to load on the nightly build that I tested yesterday, loading Link's Awakening DX yielded in a code dump.  I'll try to get a screenshot of the crash dump next time. Or is it that we can't just cold boot GB/GBC ROMs and have to load GBA first?

Also I should note that stretch video doesn't stretch as much as it used to.

I haven't been actively working on the Wii port lately. I'll try to take a look at it tonight or tomorrow.

Oh well that's fair enough, work on it when you can, I know you're super busy, sorry -_- Maybe I shouldn't have brought it up since you haven't been working on the Wii port lately.

I can't know if it's broken if I haven't been looking at it. Always let me know these things so I know to look at them!

E] Crash fixed, will work fine in the next nightly.
