Linux: Problems in saving

Saving the state or in game saving works initially but after restarting my laptop, I'm no longer able to load my games afterwards. I tried finding the .sav file or where it's located but it's nowhere. There is a file that appears after I save it though and it's name is like this ".xdp_Pokemon - Fire Red Version  (U) (V1.1).zip.V7LOHZ" but I cannot use it to load the file after restarting my laptop.

What version of mGBA are you using?

That's very old. Please upgrade to 0.6.3 and let me know if the issue persists.
