Where can i find my games data?

Im very new to the emulating scene and wanted to know where i could find these ".sav" files which contain save data for my games?

Ive been playing Wario Land 4 (Because of Pizza Tower) and each time i boot up the ROM through my downloads, all the saves appear empty. So i have to rush through the levels to get where i was at before, Maybe i could be a WL4 speedrunner, heheh. Jokes aside, the game sure is fun to replay but i want to continue progressing through the game.

If someone could help me with this, it would be much appreciated.

They should be in the same directory as the ROM. If the emulator has a problem creating the .sav file it'll give you a warning when you launch the game. For example, don't put them in Program Files.
