I’m on PsV, and my Pokémon Crystal runs just fine. But, when I try on Emerald, I can’t get cheats to save, load, or use. The lines are empty after I Add Line. Any tips?

Can you walk me through the steps you take to enter the codes, one at a time? It's possible that the codes are incorrect or misformatted, or that you're just doing it wrong. I've seen both.
