MULTIPLAYER WINDOWS NOT SAVING PROGRESS
#1
So I played with two friends via mGBA and we all separately have a folder with the mgba rom and we all separately when we want to save export a game shark file and then save within the game (in this case pokémon). But after playing for so long when we close after saving them open it restarts the game. How can i fix this or avoid this!?

Are you using 0.10? The saves wind up in .sav, .sa2, .sa3 and .sa4 files, per player, in 0.10. If you're using 0.9.3 or older, don't.

I’m using the latest version. Do i have to save in game (pokémon )and will it save or do i have to change my settings so the game saves periodically

Where do you turn on auto-save periodically?

You should be saving in game and it'll just work. There's also a setting to automatically savestate periodically (I think it's under Settings > Gameplay) but that's not a replacement.
