Controller Issue

Hi, does anyone else have an issue with assigning keys to L & R on controllers?
I have Retrobit Legacy16 Wired USB Controller and the L & R is not being picked up when assigning keys.
It does pick up the LZ and RZ buttons, but not the big L & R ones.
If anyone has a solution, please advise.
L & R work fine on other emulators.

Can you post a screenshot of your mapping screen? I'm curious if there's something conflicting.

On mGBA it just does not register, as per the screenshot 1.
Screenshot 2 shows that I am using the LZ & RZ buttons currently.
Screenshot 3, think I might have found something, this is screenshot of VBA-M. what I noticed on VBA-M I have to deselect the SDL Controller Game Mode, for the L & R buttons to register.

As I suspected, this sounds like an SDL bug. I'll see what I can do approaching it from that angle.
