How to open multiplayer window on mGBA OpenEmu? Or if not, transfer mGBA save state?

If it cannot be done on the mGBA "core" on OpenEmu, is there any way I could transfer the mGBA save state to the actual mGBA emulator?

OpenEmu does not support multiplayer at this time. And yes, if you just copy the associated .sav file from ~/Library/Application Support/OpenEmu/mGBA/Battery Saves into the same folder as the ROM, mGBA standalone should recognize it fine.
