Can't do save or load mp save states for pokemon quetzal

my friend and i downloaded mgba and pokemon quetzal and when we load up a a multiplayer window we cant do any saves or loads is it supposed to be like that? because we already have alot of hours on it without realizing we can couldnt do save states lol

Didn't you ask this in the discord and already get the answer saying "there's no way that would work the way you want it to"? Use the in-game save feature.
