Honestly, a lot of it is momentum at this point. Back before I first announced mGBA, I took several month-long breaks as I lost motivation ("why would anyone ever want another GBA emulator?", etc), but after releasing it, I kept the momentum going by placing soft deadlines and assigning tasks into these deadlines. It's getting kind of draining at this point, but the momentum keeps it going I guess.
I'd love to get more people contributing to the project, but I'm not sure I've found anyone interested enough with enough spare time to help me out much.
