If you want to remap the buttons on your 3DS version of the app, you can use the following key to edit the config.ini file.
I edited my button layout for playing Pokemon Sapphire to more align with the later generations (start is X and select is Y) Wanted to put this here because I couldn't find this on the website FAQ.

[number] [3DS button]
0 A
1 B
2 Start
3 Select
4 Right L-pad
5 Left L-pad
6 Up L-pad
7 Down L-pad
8 R
9 L
10 X
11 Y

I attached an example config.ini file for those who want to use X and Y for start and select. If you are going to download this into your file you MUST REMOVE the ".txt" from the file name. If you do not see it on Windows file explorer, go to "view" > "show" > "File name extensions"
Pokecenter box 1 was full, switched to box 2 and deposited Dugtrio so I have space to get Evee. So i thought that using the + and - numpad keys would raise and lower the app's volume, but that does not seem to be the case.
I thought maybe i might have accidentally disabled them so i went looking for them and I could not find any ways to view a full list of the hotkeys available or to assign new ones.
Please let me know if I'm just blind and couldn't find them.

I bought the Manba One controller, and I have motor tics that sometimes cause me to press A, B, X, and Y simultaneously while playing😅. This combination causes the emulator to reset, which didn't happen with my old Turtle Beach controller. Does anyone have the same controller and know if there are any settings to change this?

The acceleration function of the mgba emulator makes the displayed frame rate appear choppy after it exceeds my screen refresh rate. For example, with my 165Hz screen, a 3x speedup displays around 180 frames per second (mgba's built-in frame rate display), which makes it look choppy. A 4x speedup makes the choppyness even more noticeable. However, the vba-m emulator and my Delta on my Apple device don't have this problem. mgba doesn't solve this issue regardless of whether I choose to synchronize audio or video. Can anyone please help me with this?

The specific problem is as shown in the image I've shown: the FPS obtained using a frame rate testing tool is different from the FPS displayed in the game.

By the way, I'm Chinese. I apologize that my English isn't very good; this was written using translation software.

If I only choose 2x speed acceleration, 120 is less than 165, so the smoothness of the game will not be affected, and the detected FPS is the same as in the game.

I'm currently working on an ESP32-based device for reading actual UV levels (not just artificial light) for playing the Boktai games as originally intended. I'm focusing on making it very easy and cheap to build. It will be open source.

The easiest way to make it work with any version of mGBA (PC, libretro core, etc,) would be to enter the exact solar value via the controller hotkeys. The problem is, only increments and decrements are currently supported. The device and mGBA could easily lose sync.

I'd like to add inputing exact solar meter values in a way similar to this...
0 bars: L3
1 bar: Up on left analog + Up on right analong + L3
2 bars: Up on left analog + Right on right analog + L3
... and so on. I could figure out the best combos later, but they should all be analog-based.

What's the best way to do this? Code it for the main branch and the libretro branch then issue PRs? Thanks!

Hello!

I have been using my wii on my standard CRT TV that only has mono audio input. The wii settings match that configuration as well.

I figured I would try out GB, GBC, and GBA emulation today. mGBA is widely revered as the best on wii so I went with that. What I found is that with the gameboy games I tested, the audio was still splitting through both audio channels instead of one.

I did try the mgba core in retroarch-wii and the audio worked through there, but wow, the wii port for that is not something I want to keep.

I could buy a y splitter, but my right audio cable is significantly quieter due to damage so that won't work unless I also buy new cables for my wii. Money.

I was curious if there was a setting I was missing or if it is not something that is common so it isn't included as an option to adjust in the wii port. Any help would be fantastic and appreciated.

Thank you!
