<p>I have been trying to do a recording with HEVC for better compression, but when the option is selected it's highlighted on red and the "start" recording button is greyed out.</p><p>This doesn't happens with the NVENC codec, but can't use it in any case as I don't have Nvidia hardware on my computer so I get a small error message.</p>

I don't believe the Windows version supports HEVC encoding due to an oversight on my part (I didn't compile the requisite dependencies with the FFmpeg build I'm using). I will need to look into adding it.

The latest nightlies now have the requisite dependency added. The executable is...significantly larger...but it should support HEVC now.
