mGBA 0.6.0 known as a threat

just wanna inform endrift that version 0.6.0 is automatically put in virus chest by avast! atm
i sent the file to avast! labs in hope they whitelist it

Hi, I am new member here. I have a question. mGBA 0.6.0 (only version 0.6.0) is known as a treat in avast antivirus, why? sorry my English is bad.

I alredy posted about that.
It's a false positive, prolly it triggers something that "behaviour shield" find suspect.
Fun fact is that even if you scan the file avast! does not recognize it as a malware.
We have to wait that their whitelisters check the file, otherwise you can add by yourself to your own whitelist.

report file for being a false positive will speed up the process, i think

That is what is known as a false positive, mGBA is completely safe as far as I know. If it wasn't then I doubt people would be using it.

Problem has been solved. avast no longer knows 0.6.0 as a threat.
