ROM Hack Issue? - PakkyL - 02-21-2026
I've been trying to get a few Pokemon ROM hacks to work to no avail. A few of them will start on the FireRed platform but will white screen after the title screen. A few of the ROM Hacks download as IPS files and others are XDelta files and I'm just lost as to how to get these to work.

IPS and XDelta aren’t playable ROMs, they’re patch files, so you need a clean FireRed ROM and patch it with a tool like Lunar IPS or xdelta UI. The white screen usually means the wrong ROM version or a bad patch, so make sure it’s the exact base ROM the hack requires.
