What happened with the project Medusa (it seems of conspiranoic xD) long ago nothing is known about Medusa...

It's not a secret. I wrote about it at the bottom of an unrelated article a while back so I guess it's easy to have not gotten the news, but development on medusa is suspended while I focus on mGBA's GB and GBA emulation, and features surrounding it, for the foreseeable future. I do hope to get back to it someday, but I'm not sure when.
