mGBA 0.6.1 "loading..." on N3DS - Printable Version

mGBA 0.6.1 "loading..." on N3DS - sprocket12 - 11-15-2017

I installed the mGBA 0.6.1 CIA file using FBI, ran it, selected Pokemon Fire Red US version ROM, and I get a freeze, my entire system locks up, it says "loading..." forever, then I hold the power button to turn my N3DS off. What could be wrong?

That means it crashed while loading, but I’m not sure why that would happen.

Is there a way I could find out what is wrong? Maybe I could then report back. Are there any pre-reqs that I should have installed before hand? I just installed the .cia file and ran it.

Can you post the MD5 or SHA1 checksum of your FireRed ROM? I want to know if it's a verified dump or not.

This ROM works fine on the desktop windows version of 0.6.1. Only my N3DS XL has an issue with it.

Thanks, I’ll try to find some time to look into this. It usually means some memory failed to allocate.
