RE: Unofficial wii build -test- - nakata6790 - 10-10-2015

Hi, i also tested this fork, and i too get a black screen upon launching it from homebrew channel.

I renamed the mgba.dol to boot.dol, put it in the /apps/m-gba wii/ folder,   copy/pasted this onto the .xml file

Quote:<arguments>

<arg>-rom</arg>
<arg>sd:/roms/My rom.gba</arg>
<arg>-r</arg>
<arg>2</arg>
<arg>-reduceScale</arg>
<arg>75</arg>
</arguments>

btw, this is what the older betas .xml file has

Quote:<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8" standalone="yes"?>

<app version="1">
<name>mGBA</name>
<coder>Jeffrey Pfau (endrift)</coder>
<version>0.4-2809-9a538f8</version>
<short_description>mGBA Game Boy Advance emulator</short_description>
</app>

Should i delete those lines after adding the ones in the first quote?

RE: Unofficial wii build -test- - askot - 10-10-2015

Code:
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8" standalone="yes"?>

<app version="1">
<name>mGBA</name>
<coder>Jeffrey Pfau (endrift)</coder>
<version>0.4-2809-9a538f8</version>
<short_description>mGBA Game Boy Advance emulator</short_description>
<arguments>

<arg>-rom</arg>
<arg>sd:/roms/My rom.gba</arg>
<arg>-r</arg>
<arg>2</arg>
<arg>-reduceScale</arg>
<arg>75</arg>
</arguments>
</app>
First of all, I assumed everybody know how to use a xml file, but example above shows how it should be done, and from my first post: remember it's for booting a game from arguments not for set a path to a folder.

Also, if you want to change pad layout you can add this lines to <arguments> </arguments> section:
Code:
<arg>-button_A</a>
<arg>B</arg>
<arg>-button_B</arg>
<arg>Y</arg>

Hope this helps

In short

-- Love the nightly build (latest) for Wii
-- Tested TMNT and F-Zero GP Legend]
-- F-Zero Legend is impossible to handle with Golden Fox. I hope this wasn't done by accident by the developers
-- Unofficial build seems to early, we should focus on audio sync issues if any

Both games seems to run perfectly

Does Metroid Zero Mission runs 100%?

I love the way it displays (filter?)
I don't feel it needs unfiltered/filter/original option so far

Offtopic: perhaps the best game since Turtles in Time for SNES?
